Throughout my career at NASCAR, I have touched many areas of the business - from behind the scenes industry collateral to tangible fan facing giveaway items. Featured here is a collection of those things that were most well received, most enjoyed and most impactful.

DECALS

  • Various times throughout the NASCAR season, a special commemorative decal is requested which the teams will run for a weekend along the A-Post of the vehicle. Each decal is made after researching the individual to capture their personality to represent them. Several decals were made in conjunction with co-worker, Harris Lue.

  • Posters are created for various uses: hype poster for use in the community to promote an upcoming race, informational poster for use at-track, or for fan giveaways during a special event.

INFOGRAPHICS

  • Infographics help tell a story of an initiative, a trophy, a car, and so much more. Instead of tying words, visualize it. It grabs the viewers attention in a unique way.

  • NASCAR Pinty’s Series (now NASCAR Canada Series) Trophy: Created to illustrate the newly unveiled trophy.

    NASCAR Troops to the Track: Used as an end of year summary of the at-track initiative.

    Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (now NASCAR Cup Series) Stock Car: Breaking apart the technical specifications and pinpointing the various parts of the stock car. Created with the launch of the Digital Dash, this graphic was put together to distribute to media. Three versions were made - one for each manufacturer.

  • Hero Cards are the life blood of not only NASCAR but for all motorsports. Fans love them. So it is the perfect item to create and provide to tracks and drivers for use at autographs sessions.

  • Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (now NASCAR Cup Series) Playoffs: During the run of Playoffs, drivers are eliminated in a bracket style ladder. Each round, fan were given the opportunity for a souvenir showcasing the participating drivers.

    NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Drivers: several years, the top 15 drivers of the NWMT were provided hero cars featuring their season stats foruse at autograph sessions throughout the year.

    NASCAR Pinty’s Series (now NASCAR Canada Series) Throwback Champions: To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Pinty’s company, a past champion card was crated for a special event night.


EMAIL and WEB

  • Email design is the push for businesses. Invitations, CTA, Newsletters and Web Banners have helped with communication to the entire industry.

  • Weekend Schedule: Weekly email distributed to NASCAR fans with full schedule and tune-in information

CREDENTIALS

  • Each year the challenge is renewed to create a proactive and secure credential distributed to the industry. And each year the envelope is pushed more and more.
