When the general manager of South Boston Speedway approached me to overhaul the tracks logo, I was elated. I get to work on something for such a historical race track?!

They insisted that the logo “stay the same; it just needs a refresh”. It must keep the famed “SOBO” callout in the logo (as the fanbase warmly refers to South Boston) and update it to a “red, white and blue color scheme” for their tagline of being “America’s Hometown Track”.
